The PS8825 addresses high-speed signal switching and signal integrity requirements for the implementation of a USB Type-C® (or USB-C®) connector on a USB 3.2 host device that supports the VESA® DisplayPort Alt Mode Standard.  The device includes an integrated TCPCI (Type-C Port Controller Interface) that works together with an external TCPM (Type-C Port Manager) to provide a complete solution for USB Type-C power delivery and port control.
