The PS8803C addresses high-speed signal switching and signal integrity requirements for the implementation of a USB Type-C® (or USB-C®) connector on a USB host or device that supports USB 3.1 transport data rates up to 10Gbit/sec (Gen 2). To compensate for PCB signal loss and other signal distortion, the PS8803C includes a signal retiming function.  The device supports Intel DCI (Direct Connect Interface) for closed chassis debugging over the USB Type-C port.
