Host-Side USB Type-C® Port Configuration Switch for USB / DisplayPort™ Alt Mode, with Integrated Redriver and Port Controller with TCPC Interface
The PS8751 addresses requirements for the implementation of a USB Type-C connector on a USB host device that supports the VESA® DisplayPort Alt Mode Standard. It includes the configuration switching for all of the USB Type-C connection signals and a TCPC (Type-C Port Controller) Interface that enables the management of the USB Type-C interface functions.
