PS8558 is bidirectional signal redriver that supports both PCI Express Gen 3, with data rates up to 8.0 GT/s, and SATA, with rates up to 6 Gb/s. The PS8558 operates with a single 3.3V power supply. In a typically application, the PS8558 is placed close to the PCIe® or SATA connector to compensate for board losses and regenerate high-quality electrical signals for improved link reliability.
