Parade Technologies Reports Second Quarter 2012 Results

Financial Highlights:
- 2Q12 consolidated revenue NT$1,364 million, up 29.19% from previous quarter
- 2Q12 consolidated net income NT$396 million; Basic and Fully diluted after-tax EPS NT$7.73 and NT$7.34, respectively
Parade Technologies, Ltd. today announced consolidated revenue of NT$1,364 million (US$46.1 million) and consolidated net income of NT$396 million (US$13.4 million) for the second quarter ended June 30, 2012. It also announced that its basic and fully diluted after-tax earnings per share (“EPS”) was NT$7.73 and NT$7.34, respectively.
Quarter-over-quarter, in NT dollars, second quarter consolidated revenue increased 29.19% and consolidated net income increased 49.15%. Compared to the same period of 2011, second quarter results represented an 177.39% increase in consolidated revenue and 351.86% increase in consolidated net income.
The second quarter gross profit was NT$708 million, which is 28.80% and 202.68% higher than the previous quarter and the same period of last year, respectively.
Based on current business outlook, management expects overall performance for the third quarter of 2012 to be as follows:
- Revenue: Approximately US$48.0 ~50.5 Million
- Gross Margin: 51.3% ~51.9%
- Operating Expense: Approximately US$9 ~10 Million
