Parade’s DP501 Dual-Mode DisplayPort Transmitter and DP601 Dual-Mode DisplayPort Receiver Completed VESA PlugTest Successfully
SUNNYVALE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–August 08, 2007: Parade Technologies, Ltd., a leading developer of digital video display interface products, announced today the reference design of its DP501 DisplayPort 1.1 transmitter with an ATI Radeon™ graphics processor has successfully completed an interoperability test with DisplayPort receiver from a third party vendor and Parade’s own DP601 at the most recent Video and Electronics Standards Association (VESA) PlugTest in Milpitas, California. The solution supports advanced features such as WQXGA display mode, HDCP 1.3, and backward compatible with DVI™/HDMI™.
DisplayPort is an innovative digital display interface standard designed to be scalable and allow for true unification of display interfaces. DisplayPort supports both external connections as well as embedded interface applications.
