Parade Reports First Quarter 2012 Results

Financial Highlights:

  • 1Q12 consolidated revenue NT$1,056 million, up 17.86% from previous quarter
  • 1Q12 consolidated net income NT$266 million; Fully diluted EPS NT$4.93

Consolidated Financial Statements

Parade Technologies, Ltd. today announced consolidated revenue of NT$1,056 million (US$35.6 million) and net income of NT$266 million (US$8.9 million) for the first quarter ended March 31, 2012. It also announced that its fully diluted after-tax earnings per share (“EPS”) was NT$4.93.

Quarter-over-quarter, in NT dollars, first quarter revenue increased 17.86% and net income increased 26.78%. Compared to the same period of 2011, first quarter results represent a 141.40% increase in revenue and 221.91% increase in net income.

The first quarter gross profit was NT$550 million, or 25.53% and 167.46% higher than the previous quarter and the same period of last year, respectively.

During the Q1 2012, Parade announced two new products, the PS171 and PS181. The PS171 is a DisplayPort 1.1a to HDMI 1.4/DVI 1.0 converter. The PS181 is a DisplayPort to Dual-Mode DisplayPort converter. Both devices enable connectivity between computers and consumer electronics and displays using the world’s two most popular digital display interface standards.

Parade also announced it will attend the GreTai Market Investor Conference. The conference will take place on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, 3:00 pm, at the Taipei Garden Hotel 2nd floor internal conference room (No. 1, Sec. 2, Zhonghua Rd., Taipei 10065).
