GC2502 – Dual-Channel 56Gbps(PAM-4)/28Gbps(NRZ) Linear Equalizer for High-Speed Copper Interconnects
The GC2502 is a dual-channel linear equalizer optimized for high-performance data center interconnects running at 25–28Gbaud line rates. It is designed to support protocols such as 100Gbps Ethernet and InfiniBand EDR, with compatibility for both NRZ (25Gbps) and PAM-4 (56Gbps) signaling. The GC2502 provides up to 15dB of equalization at 14GHz and supports a peak frequency response beyond 14GHz, preserving high signal fidelity while extending the reach of copper cables.
With a compact 2.7mm x 4.2mm package, low power consumption, and linear operation, the GC2502 is well-suited for active copper cables and backplane applications. It enhances signal quality by boosting received signals prior to crossing noisy interconnects, and maintains transparency to link training algorithms and adaptive receiver equalization.
