SANTA CLARA, Calif., July 31, 2007

Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced that Parade Technologies Ltd., a leading company in high-speed video interfacing and processing products, selected the Agilent J-BERT N4903A for DisplayPort testing.

The J-BERT is a high-performance serial bit error ratio tester that enables high-quality measurements for the emerging DisplayPort standard through its unprecedented signal integrity and ease-of-use. It provides full test coverage for DisplayPort physical layer testing of sink devices. Sophisticated software support allows automated compliance testing while expert modes enable R&D engineers to debug and characterize their designs.

“Agilent worked closely with DisplayPort technology drivers, including Parade Technologies, since the start of this emerging standard,” said Michael Metzger, product marketing manager of Agilent’s Design Verification Solutions Division. “Our active participation in the DisplayPort standard definition enabled us to be first with solid and complete test solutions for sink and source devices.”

“Agilent’s strong commitment to DisplayPort and the performance of the Agilent J-BERT were key factors in our decision to select it for our DisplayPort receivers validation,” said Jack Zhao, president and CEO of Parade Technologies Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Parade Technologies Ltd. “The signal quality as well as the ease-of-use of the solution and its leading jitter insertion capabilities were proven in a thorough evaluation against strong competition.”

“Agilent set the de-facto standard for DisplayPort testing,” said Siegfried Gross, vice president and general manager of Agilent’s Digital Verification Solutions Division. “The availability and completeness of our solution ensures that the DisplayPort adopters can rely on the broadest test coverage for the critical compliance tests such as receiver jitter tolerance.”
