PS8527 is a bidirectional SATA redriver that supports the SATA 6Gb/s standard. The PS8527 is available in several power supply options, supporting supplies down to 1.2V. In a typically application, the PS8527 is placed close to the eSATA receptacle to compensate for board losses and regenerate high-quality SATA electrical signals.
