2:1 HDMI™/DVI Multiplexer For Source Device
The PS8271 is a 2:1 HDMITM/DVI multiplexer. It is ideal for switchable graphics applications in portable PCs and other applications requiring multiple HDMI/DVI inputs and a single output. The HDMI/DVI inputs support AC coupled signals typical for a PC graphics application. The built-in equalization can compensate for the PCB losses of up to 7dB. The DDC I2C pins are bi-directional and 5V tolerant. The HPD pins are uni-directional, and OUT_HPD is 5 V tolerant.
