Sr. Accounting Manager

Responsibilities Include:

Supervise monthly close process including preparation and review of journal entries.
Analyze general ledger account fluctuations.
Ensure detailed review, analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of cash reconciliations.
Assist with and drive the monthly, quarterly and annual closing process including the preparation of internal and external consolidated financial statements.
Work closely with Internal Audit and public accounting firm to coordinate and manage the quarterly and annual audit process.
Work with Internal Audit and accounting staff to maintain company-wide accounting policies.
Maintain Cost accounting system, including Standard Cost calculation and update, analyze variance, reconcile/clear backflush clearing account.
Assist with monthly financial statement closing, including variance analysis/disposition, prepare analytical reports for gross profit margin and over/under variance.
Support senior management on various projects.

Required Qualifications:

Candidates must be Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese / English, both written/verbal
10+ years of professional accounting experience
CPA certification
A strong knowledge of US GAAP
Managerial experience
Background in internal controls and the preparation of consolidated financial statements
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
BA/BS in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
Strong organizational skills to complete projects in a timely manner
Effective interpersonal skills to confidently deal with entities on accounting issues
Ability to understand and effectively communicate accounting issues
The highest degree of personal and professional integrity
Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time in an independent manner
Effective and accurate communication skills for emails, meetings, telephone, presentations, etc.
